Thierry joined Enko Education in September 2018 as the Founding Head of School of the Enko Ouaga schools.. Before joining Enko Education, Thierry was Director General of Ecole Ruban Vert, the International School of Gabon. Before that Thierry was a founding member of staff for 15 years at Northfields International School, Mauritius. With 22 years of International school experience, of which 12 in senior leadership & management and IB administration in three premium schools, Thierry’s passion for internationally Minded Schools and the African child is unparalleled.
Nadine Espiègle
Principal
Head of Campus at Enko Bonanjo International School. With 27 years of experience teaching the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, a Master’s degree in Education, a Certificate in School Management and Leadership, and management skills, Nadine brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our community.
Nadine is passionate about the power of education and believes it should be a fundamental right accessible to all. Committed to fostering critical thinking, digital literacy, and respect for all, Nadine aims to prepare students not just for academic success, but to become compassionate, well-rounded individuals.

Munoh Adeline Ajeck
University and Career Counselor/ English as Second Language Teacher/ SEN and Inclusion Officer
Munoh Adeline Ajeck epse Massango is passionate about counselling and teaching. This makes her happy as she sees young learners develop skills needed for the future and gain admissions to top universities. She hungers for knowledge as she is currently enrolled in a Master’s Degree in Education and doing a one Year flagship Counseling program to become a certified counsellor. This quest for knowledge is to give the best to our learners as our mission is to get them to the world’s best universities and develop the required skills for their dream job. Claude Asobo
CAS Coordinator / Extended Essay Coordinator and ESS teacher
Muluh Claude Asobo is the CAS/Extended Essay Coordinator as well as the Environment systems and Society’s (Ess) teacher at Enko Bonanjo Campus. He holds a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Geology and Environmental science from the University of Buea. He has 7years of experience teaching in the national and international system of education. He is also an IB examiner and principally teaches the IB Diploma program. He aspires to create a robust learning management system that develops students skills in CAS.
Njume Atabe Elvis
IB Coordinator/ English Language and Literature Instructor / IB English B Instructor /Head of Department Languages
Njume Atabe Elvis, is an English Language and Literature instructor at Enko Bonanjo Campus. He holds a Bachelors degree in Literature and a Minor in performing Visual Arts. He has acquired 3 years of experience teaching in the IGCSE curriculum and 3 years with the local system. He hopes to see learners managing themselves in learning behaviour, and commitment to achieving their academic goals.
Azifuet Efiaboh
Humanities, IGCSE Global Perspectives, IB Economic Teacher.
Azifuet Efiaboh, a professional and enthusiastic teacher who earned a Bachelor’s degree in curriculum studies and Economics from the university of Buea.
She teaches global perspective at IGCSE level, IB Economics and humanities at midlle school. She is versed in teaching learners of age 9 years to 18 years old. She is passionate in fostering student’s growth and development and has
over five years of both local and international curriculum teaching experience.
Paul Ngwa
Cambridge Coordinator & Information and computer technology Teacher
He is a holder of a Category 2 professional teacher’s certificate from the school of teacher training at the prestigious University of Bamenda. His experience in teaching young learners have spawned enthusiasm and desire to incorporate a variety of teaching approaches that permeate the learning environment for learners coming from different cultural backgrounds. As part of his vision, He intends to foster trans-disciplinarity and inclusive education in my community and the world at large.
Euodice Peohchanjih
French/English Language Teacher
Euodice teaches French and English at EBIS. Holder of a MA Degree in Linguistics and African Langauges, she has 5 years experience in teaching. She looks forward to exploring new avenues into the Cambridge Program while passing on knowledge to students.
Ngome Carlson
Science & Mathematics Teacher / Middle School
Ngome Carlson is a Science & Mathematics Teacher who holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Geo-science.
He taught voluntarily as a Graduate Teaching Assistant (for about 1 and half years) in the Department of Geology, Mining & Environmental Science of the University of Bamenda, Cameroon.
Carlson has been teaching Cambridge Middle School Mathematics & Science at Enko Bonanjo for 4months today (from the 25th August 2021 till date).
As someone grounded in scientific research, he always seeks new ways to grow in knowledge. He has keen interest in the application of scientific & mathematical principles / concepts in real world scenarios to solve problems & create a positive change.
Nche Zenobia Ngum
English Language and Literature Teacher
Zenobia joint EBIS in 2019 and currently teaches English and Literature across different levels within the IGCSE and the IB diploma programs. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Modern Letters from the University of Yaounde 1 with over 7 years of teaching experience; 2 in the national system of education and 5 in the international curriculum. She is currently enrolled in a Master’s Degree in Education program at University of the people. She has passion for teaching and always looks forward to creating a friendly atmosphere where learners can interact responsibly and manage their behaviour, while meeting their academic objectives.
Cheuko kameni Olga
French Teacher
Madame CHEUKO KAMENI Olga, philosophe et féministe engagée, diplômée de la faculté des lettres et sciences humaines de l’Université de Yaoundé I en philosophie option métaphysique et esthétique.Elle enseigne la langue française dans les écoles internationales depuis 20 ans. Elle est examinatrice du baccalauréat international depuis 3 ans et chargée de la protection de l’enfant à Enko Bonanjo depuis un an.
Elle pense que le savoir est un pouvoir et le pouvoir un devoir. La femme à le devoir d’utiliser sa volonté de puissance et sa féminité qui se démontre a travers ses combats pour ‘réhumaniser” l’humanité en perte de valeurs.
Nyingcho Emmanuel
IB/Cambridge Biology facilitator
Nyingcho Emmanuel teaches IB and IGCSE Biology at Enko Bonanjo. He holds a bachelor degree in Microbiology and Parasitology from the University of Buea and a professional Master’s degree in Quality Control and Management from the University of Ngaoundere.
Nyingcho Emmanuel has 7 years of teaching experience and 3 years in international education. He is well grounded in scientific research and ready to assist learners in their internal assessments and extended essays.
Ndzenchimbare Oliver Petiangma
Chemistry Teacher
Petiangma joined us in August 2017. He passionately teaches IGCSE Chemistry, IBDP Chemistry for the secondary 1 programme and he also teaches IBDP Environmental Systems and Societies for the secondary 2 programme. He is a Cameroonian and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Earth science from the University of Yaounde 1. He has over 14 years of teaching experience in the international setting.
He is currently doing master of Education degree.

French Teacher
Elle rejoint le groupe Enko en 2018 comme enseignante de français, avec 09 Années d’expérience d’enseignement de la langue française dans les lycées et collèges nationaux.
Titulaire d’une licence en lettre trilingue ( Français- anglais- espagnol) et d’un Master en langue et linguistique française a l’Université de Dschang. Elle aide la jeunesse à acquérir l’Art de la vie et de la bonne conduite tout en facilitant l’apprentissage du savoir.
School and Community
Enko Bonanjo Campus is a private international school located in Douala, Cameroon. Enko Bonanjo is the first IB school in Douala. The school offers modern education. Our learners are mostly Cameroonians from middle- class families, with the ambition to study in the world’s best universities. A great percentage of our parents have obtained Graduate Degrees. Eighteen students have receive scholarships from the Enko Education based on merits and need – learners who are talented but cannot afford to pay tuition. On the whole, 10% of our student body have received scholarship from Enko Education. Learners learn to grow African roots and global wings, by learning about their African cultures, while being exposed to travel opportunities through international trip and conferences.
Enko Bonanjo has highly-qualified personnel: The majority have a Master’s Degree in their subject or are currently working on its completion. IB teachers are subject trained, with the majority IB examiners. All our staffs receive over 150 hours of in-house professional development per year. The school currently has 180 learners.
Curriculum
Enko Bonanjo Campus offers the Cambridge Lower Secondary and IGCSE for learners aged 11-16, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme for learners ages 16-18. We offer the following IB courses at Higher and Level standards: English A: Language and Literature; English B, French A: Language and Literature, French B: Language Acquisition, French Abinitio, Economics, Global Politics, Information and Technology in the Global Society, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science,
Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches, Business Management, Environmental Systems and Societies and Visual Arts. Full Diploma students take 6 IB subjects, 3 at Higher Level and 3 at Standard Level. For learners coming from the national curriculum, Enko Bonanjo has developed a “Foundation Year” in Grade 10, which allows learners to transition to the IB curriculum and to maximize their chances of success at the IB. Students enrolling for the IB diploma are highly selective based on a holistic approach. The school has a total number of 180 students and 15% of the student body takes the IB. Enko Bonanjo is a May session school and has two semesters with the First semester starting from September to December and Second semester starts from January and ends in June. Students enrolled in the Cambridge IGCSE graduates with a minimum of passing in four papers. Students enrolled in the IB graduates with a High School Diploma.
Grading and ranking procedures
Eligible students enrolled in the IB Diploma Programme may qualify for the full diploma or receive certificates in the subjects they take. Students in the IB Diploma Program are graded on a 7.0 scale. All grades are unweighted. Students at Enko Bonanjo Campus are not ranked and neither are their cumulative GPA. Grading is based on the International Baccalaureate (IB) grade system of 1-7 scale with 3 being the minimum passing grade, Theory of Knowledge and Extended Essay are part of the 2 -year IB Diploma. Students take 6 courses and could earn up to 42 points. This is added to the possible 3 points for exemplary performance in TOK course and Extended Essay. Thus, the total point score is 45. Enko Bonanjo Campus does not convert IB points to any other grading system. For Foundation Year, grading is based on the IB grade system of 1-7. Students have to take 9 subjects – broad- based to help them make good choices at the level of DP 1. They also do Introduction to Research Writing to help them prepare for Extended Essay at the DP level.
Students enrolled in the Cambridge Lower Secondary take the Progression Tests as well as the Checkpoint diagnostic assessment in Form 3. For IGCSE, grading is based on the Cambridge International Examinations grade system of A* – G. Students also have subjects with Core and Extended levels to choose from.
Extra curricular activities
The Enko Bonanjo Campus learning experience is enhanced by its after-school activities. The school offers a number of after school clubs such as Dance, Food and Nutrition, Leadership, Science, Journalism, Language, Band, Coding, Environmental, Model United Nations, SOD (social organization and developmental club), tournaments, community services (raising funds for orphans online), assist local health foundations in sharing face masking and hand sanitisers to local communities, participate in an online dance competition, online fitness program, making local hand sanitisers for the needy, tutoring in orphanages, cleaning local community markets and creating of a web page for CAS activities. In addition, many of our students are involved in sporting activities, vocational internships (Tailoring and hair braiding)
