Enko Dakar – International School Profile 2024-25
About Enko Education
Enko Dakar Campus is an African international school and a member of the Enko Education network. Enko Education is the largest network of GDP schools in Africa, with a mission to increase access to the world's best universities for learners across the continent.
Enko Education has developed an innovative model. Our programs lead to internationally recognized qualifications and are offered at a much lower cost than other international schools in Africa. What's more, learners benefit from support in their university admissions process thanks to our guidance program.
The Enko Education model is bearing fruit, with students going on to prestigious institutions such as Yale (USA), Sciences Po (France), the University of Toronto (Canada), the African Leadership University (Rwanda) and many others.
With 14 schools in 9 African countries, Enko Education aims to provide high-quality education to 100,000 pupils by 2030, supported by several international financial institutions such as Proparco, I&P, Oiko Credit and Liquid Africa.
Our vision is to unleash the potential of learners across Africa to shape the global future, by facilitating access to the best universities and promising careers. Our values: Caring, Committed, Pathmakers and Team-Spirited.
School and Community
Enko Dakar is a secular, co-educational and selective school inaugurated in 2017 in Dakar, Senegal. It offers bilingual education with an international perspective and is the first International Baccalaureate candidate school offering the Middle Years Programme (MYP) in Senegal.
The aim is to prepare students for social and professional success, opening doors to world-renowned institutions of higher learning and training them in individual and collective responsibility. Mostly from middle-class Senegalese families, our students learn to cultivate their African roots while broadening their horizons through study trips and conferences.
Curriculum
The school is accredited by the Senegalese Ministry of Education and the International Baccalaureate Organization in Geneva. It has been authorized to offer the IB Diploma Programme for classes 12 and 13 since September 2018 and the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for classes 7 to 11 since December 2019. Enko Dakar PYP, the primary section, offers a bilingual (English-French) program for children aged 3 to 12.

Knowledge for College
