The Camp background ?

Actually B.E.S.T stands for (Basic English Skills Training). English 1.2.3 International decided since 2015 to launch this program targeting the Youth to help them spend the vacation the better way by improving their skills in English and provide them with a piece of advice in life broadly speaking regarding the dangers around them.

The Vision

To positively impact on kids and teens by helping them to discover their full potential and give them a foretaste of competencies that make people attractive in the job market.

Why we do what we do ?

We designed BEST Youth Camp (BYC) to become a learning and maker space that will build lifelong learning skills for the children. Moreover, recent studies have shown that students who “take a break” from learning can lose up to six months of education! This learning loss puts them at a significant disadvantage when they re-start school.

The Team

A mixed team of Enko Education Côte d’Ivoire passionate educators and English 1.2.3 International talented young professionals will put together and run the program creatively.

All courses overview

The BEST Youth Camp Program will offer the following courses to the children :

  1. English courses (70% of the program duration)
  2. Leadership course (5%)
  3. The Art of living (5%)
  4. Introduction to Robotics (5%)
  5. Introduction to Business Ideas (5%)
  6. Introduction to the power of E-learning in Education (5%)
  7. Introduction to Financial literacy (5%)

Bonus

Many are the people who still do not know that Côte d’Ivoire has very beautiful cultural sites across the country. We believe that holidays are the right time for kids and teens to discover these beauties so we schedule to visit 5 Cultural sites that are :

  1. The Basilica in Yamoussoukro
  2. The Museum of Abidjan
  3. Ile Boulay and the billionaires bay
  4. The city of Grand-Bassam
  5. The American Andrew Young Center for Entrepreneurship.

The daily program

The camp will take place at Enko Riviera school in Abidjan – Côte d’Ivoire from July 8th to August 2nd, 2019. The school will be opened everyday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm from Monday to Friday. The cultural sites visites will take place on Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Transportation

For parents that will pay an additional fee for transportation, a van will transport their kids everyday in and out: this is optional.

However, the kids from abroad will be transported because it is already included in their fees.

What we provide

The camp fees cover : the documentation kit of each child, two branded tee-shirts of the camp, a souvenir DVD of the camp, the cultural site visits, the food (the breakfast, the lunch, a snack in the afternoon and the dinner for kids from abroad) and an insurance.

We also provide a safe and secured space for the children plus a medical staff.

However, we do not provide the Visa for kids from abroad.
