Johannesburg, Monday 21 May 2018 \u2013<\/strong> African international schools group Enko Education has announced the launch of two new schools, which will open at the beginning of the new academic year in September 2018: Enko Bamako International School in Bamako, Mali and Enko Ouaga International School in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. These new schools embody the vision of Enko Education to increase access to a high-quality international education for students on the African continent.<\/p>\n In keeping with its model, Enko Education partnered with local organisations for these launches. \u201cThere is significant demand for high-quality education in Mali. Enko Education offers an alternative to the Mali school systems, both public and private, by provided international programmes that are recognised the world over, and adapted to the local context\u201d, said Mr Mossadeck Bally, CEO of the Azala\u00ef Hotels Group and partner of Enko Bamako International School in Mali. The Diawara family, a well-known family of Burkina Faso entrepreneurs, is supporting the Enko Ouaga International School. \u201cEnko Ouaga gives young people from Burkina Faso the opportunity to realise their full potential and become the leaders of tomorrow\u201d, said Lassine Diawara.<\/p>\n By enriching the provision of education in Burkina Faso and Mali, Enko Education hopes to provide a greater number of talented young Africans with the opportunity to fulfil their potential and study at the very best universities in the world.<\/p>\n In 2017, the first cohort of Enko students joined universities as prestigious as Yale University in the United States, Sciences Po in France, the University of Toronto in Canada, and the African Leadership University in Rwanda. \u201cWe have designed an innovative model of African international schools: we offer a unique educational experience that leads to globally recognised qualifications. Our university admissions counselling programme supports our students in their applications to university and for funding for their studies\u201d, explained Eric Pignot, founder and CEO of Enko Education, and graduate of the HEC and MIT.<\/p>\n \u201cWith these two new schools, Enko Education is proud to continue with its mission to increase access to the best universities in the world by offering an excellent education in Africa\u201d, said Cyrille Nkontchou, founder and chairman of Enko Education, and graduate of Sciences Po and Harvard. The network currently numbers 12 schools located in Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Mozambique, South Africa, Burkina Faso, and Mali.
