Job opening – Senior Finance Associate – Enko Education
We are setting-up a panafricain network of primary and secondary schools offering excellent education affordable to the middle class. Our flagship product is an international secondary cursus designed for students aspiring to study in the world’s best universities.
The private education sector experiences an unprecedented momentum in SubSaharan Africa, driven by the failure of governements to offer quality education to the fastest growing population on the planet, and by the rise of an African middle-class willing to offer the best opportunities to its children. Across the continent, enrollment in private schools is now growing faster than enrollment in public school.
Enko now operates in four countries (Cameroon, Mozambique, Côte d’Ivoire and South Africa). We aim to roll out 40 schools in 20 countries in the next five years.
Enko Education is funded by Proparco, the subsidiary of Agence Française de Développement (AFD) devoted to private-sector funding, and Investisseurs & Partenaires (I&P), an impact investment group dedicated to African Small and Medium Enterprises.
