Our Story

Founded in 2014, Enko Maputo began with a clear mission: to deliver a high-quality, values-driven education that fosters both academic excellence and personal confidence in Mozambique.

In 2016, we proudly joined Enko Education, Africa’s largest network of IB schools, becoming part of a pan-African movement dedicated to expanding access to the world’s top universities for African learners.In 2023, the school moved to a new, modern campus in Sommerschield, Maputo, offering upgraded facilities to enhance the learning experience.

In 2024, Enko Maputo expanded its offering by opening the Primary School section, welcoming students from 6 years old and above.

In 2025, the school celebrated a significant academic achievement with its International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) pass rate rising above 70%.

Today, serving over 300 learners across primary to pre-university levels, Enko Maputo continues to grow with purpose, pride, and a commitment to shaping future leaders.
