Welcome to our website! We are Pestalozzi Education Centre, a member of the Enko Education network of schools. Our school provides a unique and great learning and working environment with a philosophy that emphasizes the development of each learner’s ‘Head,’ ‘Heart,’ and ‘Hands.’ This approach cultivates critical and creative thinking, character and practical skills, resulting in compassionate, active learners and change-makers.
Pestalozzi Education Centre welcomes learners from crèche to grade 12, offering both national and international curriculums. We provide the Examinations Council of Zambia curriculum from grades 1 to 12 and Cambridge programmes from primary to International General Certificate of Secondary Education (ICCSE) level. After completing ICCSE, learners move to the globally recognized International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), a 2-year university preparatory programme that offers many university admissions-related benefits, course credits and scholarships. Zambia joined over 150 countries in September 2021 in recognizing and accepting the IBDP.
Our school provides state-of-the-art facilities, including sports facilities, computer labs, science labs, research labs, and libraries. Our students benefit from up-to-date classroom instruction and exciting learning opportunities. They participate in various sports activities and have won local and national awards. Professional coaches lead dedicated sessions for sports like inline skating, basketball, and volleyball. Our success is measured by the achievements of our students, who have attended top international summer programs and prestigious universities, including Toronto, SciencesPo, Yale, Ottawa, ALU, Hult and others. Our graduates join a growing international network of high achievers and considerate global citizens.
