University Counselling

Every Enko Education school has a University Guidance Counsellor, overseen by the Group University Admissions Manager. All Counsellors across the network meet weekly to share information on applications, scholarships and more. Students are able to meet with the UGC individually to discuss their plans for the future. Additionally the UGC organises events including Career Days and external speakers to assist our students in making choices for the future.
After IGCSE the focus is for students to explore courses and universities that interest them. They have full access to Cialfo, an online platform that enables them to research and apply to universities around the world, as well as being a place where they can keep records of their achievements and extracurricular activities. All students receive training in how to use Cialfo. They are also invited to a network-wide online course called Knowledge for College, where they will hear from speakers on a range of topics, from how to write a personal statement to understanding SATs, and about scholarship opportunities around the globe.
At Enko Botho our aim is to enable access to the world’s best universities and to ensure students are on the path to a happy and successful life. We acknowledge that this looks different for every individual. Students receive a personalised approach to their applications, with the support of a network of professionals across Africa, safe in the knowledge that universities recognise the calibre of students that graduate from Enko Education schools.
We believe that our students have both the talent and the financial opportunities (through various funding institutions) to study in the best universities in the world: Harvard, Oxford, Sciences Po, University of Cape Town, MIT and many others.
