COVID-19 – updated situation on Monday 16 March
Dear Enko parents,
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to close 4 of our schools across Africa: Senegal, Ivory Coast, and Burkina Faso.
- Enko Keur Gorgui and Enko Waca will be closed for three weeks from Monday 16 March until April 6.
- Enko Ouaga is closed from today until April 6.
- Enko Riviera is closed today and is awaiting an official communiqué from the Ivorian government to find out the details of how the school will be closed.
South African campuses are closing as of March 18th until after the Easter weekend. They should resume on the 14th of April 2020.
Schools are still open in Botswana, Mali, Mozambique, Zambia, and Cameroon until further notice but all events and gatherings are postponed.
They are working on creating operation plans in case they need to close. This includes but is not limited to plans around staff duties and responsibilities, school fees collections, student recruitment.
All Enko schools are working on creating distance learning plans to be reviewed by the COVID-19 task force. Those plans will enable avoiding any gaps in the academic year for our students.
