School closure – Ivory Coast

 In #COVID-19, Côte d'Ivoire

Dear Parents,

Here are the updates regarding the arrangements for the COVID 19 coronavirus. Enko John Wesley and Enko Riviera are aligned with this decision and have planned an action plan for their students during this period. Following the government’s announcement, which invites us to close the schools for 30 days from now, here are the measures we decided to put in place:

● A permanence will be made within the school to answer your concerns. Also, we invite students who want to come and pick up their school belongings to study
from home to come between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. tomorrow, Tuesday March 17. If this is the case, we ask the students to come without a school uniform.

● A distance learning action plan to ensure the continuity of the courses has been established (action plan attached to this email). This plan takes effect this
Wednesday, March 18 at 8:00 a.m.

● We kindly ask you to make available to children a computer tool and an internet connection

● The timetable remains unchanged , the lessons will be by videoconference and will continue on Classroom

● A student’s attendance sheet will be monitored: the call will be done at each course and classified in an attendance file

● The main means of communication will be email, therefore we ask you to be alert to communications via email and the Edana portal.

We would like to assure you that all preventive measures are taken within our school and the management team. We invite you not to enter into the general psychosis linked to the virus, but we ask you to be careful and to respect the health instructions to protect yourself from the virus.

The safety of staff and students is a priority for us, and these measures are taken to prevent harm. However, the Enko Education group finds it important to provide
educational services to students in its network during this preventive period. We want to count on your collaboration for the realization of this project.

We remain at your disposal for any further information.

Best regards,

The Head
