COVID-19 – Updated Situation On Friday 27 March

Please find below an update of the current situation in our schools:

Closed schools

  • Botswana: Enko Botho Campus in Gaborone will be closed from March 23rd until further notice.
  • Burkina Faso: Enko Ouaga Campus in Ouagadougou  is closed until April 1. 
  • Cameroon: Enko La Gaieté Campus in Yaoundé and Enko Bonanjo Campus in Douala are closed from March 18 until further notice.
  • Ivory Coast: Enko Riviera Campus and Enko John Wesley Campus in Abidjan are closed until April 16.
  • Mali: Enko Bamako Campus in Bamako is closed from March 18 until April 8.
  • South Africa: Enko Sandton Campus and Amazing Grace Private School in Johannesburg are closed until the 14th April.
  • Senegal: Enko Keur Gorgui Campus and Enko Waca Campus in Dakar are closed until April 6. 
  • Zambia: Pestalozzi Education Centre in Lusaka will close from March 20 until further notice from the government.
  • Mozambique: Enko Riverside Campus in Maputo, Enko Sekeleka Campus in Vilankulo, Enko Benga Campus in Tete will close from March 23rd for 30 days.

Exams Cancellation

The IB has announced the cancellation of the May exam session. A letter will soon be sent to parents to explain the details of how diplomas and certificates will be awarded.

Cambridge has also announced the cancellation of the May/June exam session

Distance Learning

Distance learning is in place in all our schools. Most of our students are engaging daily in distance learning, through assignments or digitally with their teachers.
